Mission Statement:
MIC Total Recycle was founded with our children in mind. Zero impact on the planet earth is our goal. Through effective recycling we can continue to reap the benefits of our technologies without pollution. If we believe, together we can achieve a better future.

Same interesting facts about MIC TOTAL RECYCLE:

> First Oregon DEQ E-Waste processor
Shredder permit Issued. (permit#1391)
>EPA inspected (working with the EPA to recycle return from
oversea E-Waste).
>OHSA Inspected.
>First waste Electronics shredder recycling plant is OREGON.
>We keep the State of Oregon electronics recycling money in Oregon.

To Who It May Concern,

According to GAO (U.S. Government Accountability Office), many recycling companies illegally shipped CRTs (Sathode Ray Tube) to 3rd world countries, ignoring EPA (U.S. Environment Protection Agency) rules and guide lines. (Only applies to CRT Tubes under EPA exporting rules)

Additionally EPA has been criticized for not governing more strictly on these harmful, hazardous materials being exported to developing countries and some companies are taking advantage with loosely written EPA guide lines

U.S. EPA and state DEQ claims to be the most environmentally conscious branch of the government in the U.S. and even in the world. However they have been allowing companies to export these harzadous materials overseas almost everytime because they are aware of critical problems associated with dismantling computer monitors and TV tubes in the U.S. soil.

GAO reports, CRT and TV Tubes contain one of the deadliest materials to the environment and past several years, thousands and thousands of CRTs have been exported to the 3rd world countries, yet only few containers are being reported each year to EPA.

Most alarming and unfortunate fact is there are only few companies throughout in the U.S. who can handle these hazardous materials, specifically CRT tubes.

Do you know what will happen with your current CRT Tubes or TV Tubes once thrown away?

MIC was created specifically to address these issues. For the past 3 years we worked witht the state E-waste processor, DEQ and E-waste specialist around the globe to design a machines that can perform at a level where export is no longer needed once complete. At our facility, phase 1 is finished and its certification and permit has been obtained through EPA and Oregon DEQ. Currently we are the only company to hold the license in the State to shred CRT Tubes and TV Tubes.
Our state of art machine can trap and prevent any leakage from being airborn while dismantling hazardous tubes containing Mercury. Futhermore, we are working on to second pahse of cleansing process called the “Smart Purification”.
Because shredded glass may still contain hazardous residues, our state of art automated lavage system will clean the glass completely when in place. Once glass is cleaned, it will become one of the most valuable commodities around the world.
For example, it can be mixed with asphalt to build roads or re-manufactured as a Glass-Block to build walls for houses. This will not only create jobs but it will generate environmentally friendly revenue to boost local economy.

At MIC, we know your home is your world. With our naturally safe and effective way of recycling, we will forefront world-class standard for our next generation in mind.
